GOD LOVES ALL HIS CREATION (A reflection of John 3:13-17)

The important thing for us from the Gospel reading is about how Jesus wants to show the goodness of God. God is a loving father, the source of all goodness, because the love of God surpasses everything. He doesn’t hesitate to send His beloved Son. In the world His Beloved Son must suffer until passes away on the cross. What is the meaning of this event? Does God want to persecute and kill His Beloved Son? The mystery of faith has exposed in a humble happening. God is Love. He loves all of His creation, so that the answer the question “Why He does send His Beloved Son?” is that God doesn’t like that His Creations has a disorientated life. Jesus comes to become the mediator to God. “3:13. and no one has ever gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from heaven." God, who is love, becomes the central of our life’s orientation.
In our daily life, we find many negative experiences. Sometimes such experiences tempt us to question about God’s existence that God is love. Why humanity must face many sufferings, warfare, persecution, poverty and so on? Are God’s eyes closed, so He doesn’t see the reality of His creation? To use the words of Nergotte (A religion psychologist): sufferings and crime are the best reason of faith skepticism and insurrection of human to God. Is it the best reason? The first reading shows the insurrection of the God’s people. “The people of Israel became so impatient, that they complained against God and said to Moses, "Did you bring us out of Egypt, just to let us die in the desert? There's no water out here, and we can't stand this awful food.” So what is the will of God in such problems?
In fact, the mystery of the cross is the best answer for us. Mystery of the cross is an illustration for our life. In our sufferings, God will always be with us. He gives the power and divine hope to strengthen our faith. We must therefore be happy if we suffer because we alert to take part in the suffering of Jesus Christ. E.g., in the history of Christianity, the martyrs did not like to be freed from sufferings but they just hoped to get divine courage and divine power to change the suffering into the source of life.
That is why; the cross is a sign of victory whereby we find the true happiness. Put your hope in God when your sufferings are so complex because He is God of Love, so He will give the salvation for our life.
